Identitas Trigonometri

\(\sin^2\:\alpha + \cos^2\:\alpha=1\) \(\tan⁡\alpha = \dfrac{\sin\alpha}{\cos⁡\alpha}\)
\(1 + \tan^2\:⁡\alpha =\sec^2\:\alpha\) \(\cot⁡\alpha = \dfrac{\cos\alpha}{\sin\alpha}\)
\(1 + \cot^2\:⁡\alpha =\csc^2\:\alpha\)

Dengan menggunakan relasi sudut, fungsi-fungsi trigonometri dapat diubah seperti contoh di bawah ini:

\(\sin (90 - x) = \cos x\)

\(\cos (90 - x) = \sin x\)

\(\tan (90 - x) = \cot x\)

\(\cot (90 - x) = \tan x\)
