Bentuk Eksponen

Bentuk eksponen dapat disederhanakan dengan menggunakan aturan eksponen di bawah ini:

Aturan	Contoh
$x^{a} . x^{b} = x^{a + b}$	$x^{5} . x^{2} = x^{5 + 2} = x^{7}$
$\frac{x^{a}}{x^{b}} = x^{a - b}$	$\frac{x^{5}}{x^{2}} = x^{5 - 2} = x^{3}$
$\frac{x^{a}}{y^{a}} = {(\frac{x}{y})}^{a}$	$\frac{6^{5}}{2^{5}} = {(\frac{6}{2})}^{5} = 3^{5}$
$x^{- a} = \frac{1}{x^{a}}$	$x^{- 5} = \frac{1}{x^{5}}$
$x^{- a} = \frac{1}{x^{a}}$	$x^{- 5} = \frac{1}{x^{5}}$
$x^{\frac{a}{b}} = \sqrt[b]{x^{a}}$	$x^{\frac{1}{2}} = \sqrt{x}$ $x^{\frac{2}{5}} = \sqrt[5]{x^{2}}$
